Clouds are gathering over Asterion. The power of the Seventeen is waning, and a new pantheon of gods, the Dark Ten, is rising to prominence. In their quest for a peaceful night's sleep, or in their quest for money and power, people are turning to the dark deities. Will the Seventeen be able to settle their differences and unite before the last strains of the Fall of the Old Gods are heard on the bards' lutes?

Meabor – the god of fear, terror and dread, Sarapis – the god of chaos and fickle fortune, Dreskan – the god of vengeance and cruel justice, Ndangawa – the goddess of madness, rage, battle and fury, Shin – the god of blood-redeemed knowledge, Inaka – the goddess of natural disasters, Gwi – the goddess of deception, dreams, treachery and false promises, Ynnar Ruth – the goddess of fornication, gluttony and perversion, Sandol Kah – the goddess of weakness, torment and pain, and finally the Dark Hood, eternally shrouded in a veil of mystery.
