    Where civilization ends—beyond even the smallest villages and watchtowers—endless mountain ridges rise, cold and unforgiving. This inhospitable land was once the domain of the King of the Barbarians, whose men worshipped animal spirits and fought with brass weapons. They knew no mercy during their raids: they were not content with mere plunder, but took their victims as slaves or killed them outright.

    This was the case until the king’s death, after which men in armor emerged from the lowlands, as merciless as their enemies had once been. Today, the mountains are as silent as they ever were. And it is said that in the valley haunted by the shadows of barbarian warriors, the tomb of their last warlord—the King of the Barbarians—still lies.

    The Curse of the Cold Mountains

    Forget generic caves—this mountain valley has a soul of its own and a chilling history. Players will have to face twisted animal spirits and uncover the secrets of a village inhabited by the descendants of barbarian slaves.

    Exploring the fog-shrouded wilderness is just as thrilling as the descent into the darkness itself.
