Becoming a famous illusionist requires rigorous training and mastering the most basic craft—pulling cute white bunnies out of a hat. Forget about materializing black cats, old books, or potions—that’s not what the audience is interested in! In this fast-paced card game, you’ll compete as students of magic in several rounds called “exams”. Your goal is to earn as many points as possible by passing exams and proving that you have the greatest magical talent.

The game is based on the thrilling principle of testing your luck. On your turn, you must draw a card from one of four spell decks, which vary in difficulty—from green spells for beginners to blue spells for masters of chaos. Once you have the exact number of rabbits in front of you that matches one of the available diplomas on the table, you can voluntarily end the exam and claim the diploma. However, you must judge the right moment to stop. If you conjure more rabbits than the highest available diploma specifies, or if three black cats cross your path, you’re OUT—you’re eliminated from the test and receive nothing at all.

Other magical items and creatures will also help you while you’re casting spells. A ball of yarn can distract one black cat, a potion of clairvoyance lets you secretly peek under the lids of the draw piles, and an ancient book of spells—a grimoire—will grant you a rare magic feather. However, your opponents can deprive you of these at any time—even after you’ve already completed your exam and are safely holding your diploma.
